Blepharoplasty

Surgery of the eyelids or «bags» (blepharoplasty) is a surgical technique that consists of removing excess skin and fat from the upper and lower eyelids. Over the years, the skin of the eyelids becomes flaccid, beginning to sag, with wrinkles and excess fat («bags») which gives an aged and fatigue appearance that affects the whole face.

Surgery of the upper eyelids is usually performed with local anaesthesia, and is generally a quick surgery.

For surgery of the lower eyelids or the upper and lower eyelids, we recommend sedation or general anaesthesia depending on the type of procedure and technique used.

We must not forget that it is a surgical procedure.
